We are recruiting an experienced Site Planning Engineer for a large-scale industrial EPC construction project in the Netherlands.
The project concerns the greenfield construction of an Electrolyzer unit for hydrogen (H₂) production, with a total construction duration of approximately 30 months. The engineering phase is already well advanced, and site activities are starting now.
Functieomschrijving
As Site Planner, you will be the key reference for all planning and scheduling activities on site, working with a high level of autonomy and supported by an office-based planner.
Your responsibilities include:
- Preparing and maintaining the project baseline schedule and progress measurement tools
- Structuring the schedule using the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)
- Integrating activities from all stakeholders, including subcontractors and third parties
- Coordinating with engineering and construction disciplines to validate dates, durations, logic, and progress weightings
- Analyzing the critical path and near-critical activities and proposing mitigation actions
- Supporting the Project Manager with schedule analysis and execution strategy
- Participating in project meetings, coordination sessions, and progress reviews
- Updating schedules on a monthly basis based on actual progress and realistic forecasts
- Performing progress and delay analysis, including look-ahead planning
- Proposing and monitoring corrective actions to recover or mitigate delays
- Providing clear and transparent reporting on schedule status and milestones
Functie eisen
- 10–15 years of experience on large industrial EPC projects
- Proven experience working directly on construction sites
- Ability to work fully autonomously as the on-site planner

- Primavera P6: Expert level (mandatory)
- Project scheduling and planning: Expert
- Construction progress tracking: Expert
- Microsoft Project: Confirmed
- Google Sheets: Nice to have
- Fluent in English
