Are you an experienced Project Manager with a strong engineering background and a passion for managing complex industrial projects? We are looking for a senior professional to lead and coordinate multiple multidisciplinary projects within a challenging technical environment.
In this role, you will manage a portfolio of 10 to 15 projects annually, ranging from several hundred thousand euros to multimillion-euro investments. You will oversee all project phases, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, schedule, and applicable regulations.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage 10 to 15 multidisciplinary projects on an annual basis.
- Lead and coordinate external engineering contractors.
- Define, monitor, and control project schedules.
- Manage total project costs and expenditures.
- Review technical documentation to ensure compliance with specifications, procedures, and relevant legislation.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and integration.
- Deliver projects within a highly complex and multidisciplinary technical environment.
- Report directly to the Manager of the Project Department.
The projects are executed in a demanding environment where technical complexity is high and project timelines are often challenging.
Functie eisen
- Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent through experience.
- Advanced knowledge of engineering codes, standards, guidelines, and legislation, including PED and ATEX.
- Knowledge of refinery and/or petrochemical processes is considered an advantage.
- Proven project management skills and experience.
- Bilingual in Dutch and English.
- Strong technical interest combined with a critical and analytical mindset.
- 8 to 15 years of experience in a technical environment, including at least 5 years in project management.
