For a large industrial organization, we are looking for an experienced Purchaser Industrial Services. In this role, you are responsible for sourcing, tendering and contracting industrial services related to regular and corrective maintenance activities.
You play a key role in translating maintenance needs into effective purchasing strategies and long‑term supplier contracts, operating in a complex industrial environment where safety, cost control and compliance are critical.

Purchasing & Contracting
- Prepare, organize and execute RFQ processes for industrial maintenance services
- Lead commercial evaluations, negotiations and contract awards
- Draft contracts and ensure proper approval and signature
- Support implementation of new maintenance contracts, including contractor mobilisation and demobilisation
- Report on achieved savings and purchasing results
- Develop and advise on maintenance‑related purchasing and contracting strategies aligned with organizational goals
- Set up bidder lists, RFIs and RFQs, taking multi‑year maintenance planning into account
- Align strategies with colleagues at other industrial sites and corporate purchasing
- Advise and proactively inform internal stakeholders, including purchasing management and EMT
- Work closely with maintenance, technical specialists, safety and cost engineering
- Lead (potential) claim situations related to maintenance service contracts
- Aim for commercial settlements within the given mandate
- Ensure proper contract follow‑up, administration and archiving
- Monitor market, supplier and price developments for maintenance services
- Maintain regular contact with suppliers and industry peers
- Support supplier prequalification and periodic evaluations
- Ensure tenders are executed in line with applicable safety rules and documentation
- Ensure contracts comply with applicable legislation and standard Terms & Conditions
- Coordinate with purchasing management and legal counsel where required
Functie eisen
TRAINING & QUALIFICATIONS
- HBO Bedrijfseconomie/Bedrijfskunde with at least 10 years of working experience of which 5 years in a similar purchasing function
- Purchasing courses, NEVI 1 or comparable working experience
- Mastering English at least on level B2
- Analytical, strategical & negotiation skills
- Managerial skills to lead topics to conclusions
- Interpersonal skills to persuade others/parties
